Questions we hear a lot
Straight answers about plans, prices, moving across from another tool and what InfinitInvoice does and does not do.
Is InfinitInvoice cheaper than Xero?
Yes. Business Pro costs £4.99 a month with no VAT to add, compared with Xero's Ignite plan at £18 a month, ex VAT, which is the ongoing price after Xero's introductory offer. Our comparison page has the full breakdown, including our Free plan.
Can I move my invoices and customers from Xero or QuickBooks to InfinitInvoice?
There is no automatic import tool for Xero or QuickBooks data yet. You can add your clients and re-create any open invoices directly in InfinitInvoice, and our support team can advise on the best way to move across.
Does InfinitInvoice have a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 10 invoices a month, 10 saved clients, unlimited quotations and billing in 7 currencies, for one business and one user, with no time limit.
Is InfinitInvoice available on mobile?
Yes. InfinitInvoice works in the web browser on any phone or tablet, so you can create and send invoices on the go. Dedicated iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.
Is InfinitInvoice suitable for sole traders and freelancers?
Yes. Sole traders sending occasional invoices often start on the Free plan, and freelancers billing every week usually move to Business Pro for recurring statements and more saved clients.
Does InfinitInvoice support Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT?
Not at the moment. InfinitInvoice does not submit Making Tax Digital VAT returns to HMRC. If you need MTD VAT filing, a full accounting suite or your accountant's software is the right tool for that alongside InfinitInvoice for your invoicing.
Can I cancel or change my plan at any time?
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, and you can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings.
Can I try InfinitInvoice before paying?
Yes. The Free plan lets you create real invoices and quotations at no cost, so you can try InfinitInvoice before choosing a paid plan.
